Are you tall or short? Maybe you have blonde hair? No
matter what your age, gender, race, religion, hair colour or any other defining
characteristic you may have, it is important to remember that every person is
different. This differences shouldn’t limit peoples opportunities in life,
discrimination is an action that should never have made it way into our society
and needs to be stamped out immediately. By discriminating against people all
you are showing is either disrespect or jealousy towards the person, neither of
which are feelings that will help your grow on your journey through life. Every
person you meet, everyone you come into contact with is an opportunity to learn
something new, even if it’s only a name. Always remember that the key to moving
forward on your own journey and becoming wiser, gaining a better understanding
of the world we all function in daily is learning. Knowledge no matter how big
or small is putting you one step closer to truly understanding you place in the
world.
